Jason has loved building things with computers since he was eight years old. Before taking a break to build Novel Minds, Jason led the Machine Learning & Data Platform organization at Latitude AI, an autonomous driving subsidiary of Ford. Prior to working on self-driving cars, Jason led the Applied Reinforcement Learning team @ Facebook AI, and similar machine learning efforts at Apple, Google Research, and Lockheed Martin Applied Research. Jason has a PhD in computer science from UCF with a focus on Neuroevolution.

Scott currently leads Here and Tomorrow, a consulting agency specializing in management and engineering of artificial intelligence products and business processes. The agency's expertise spans GenAI, LLMs, ML, LLMOps, Open Source AI, and Agentic Systems. Previously serving as Chief Technology Officer and as Chief Innovation Officer for SXSW, Scott led the technical strategy and managed internet connectivity, hardware infrastructure, development of the web and mobile software, digital marketing, and video production necessary for producing the world renowned SXSW Interactive, Music, and Film conferences and festivals held every March in Austin, TX.
